Who we are?
Revamp The Game is a diverse, stimulating and unique sports media platform created to showcase the new wave of footballing analysis and opinion in its most unfiltered and true form. The rare quality and differing styles of each of our creators ensures we stand out as the industries boldest new idea.
Commencing on the platform Substack, Revamp The Game (RTG) will condense several pieces of written and video football content into a weekly newsletter. Relevant and contemporary concepts within football will exist within this schedule. RTG will also feature longer, individual pieces specially designed to exhibit the detailed and complex nature of our creatives work.
· The next generation: Our content team are highly talented, young and ambitious creators looking to demonstrate and stamp their footballing ideology and critical thought to the world of football.
· Focused: The current football media industry is littered with generic and disengaging content. At RTG, we look to champion the niche that is focused footballing analysis, diving deeper into the finer details that often get overlooked. We believe there is a growing and evermore demanding market online for this style of content.
· Exposure: Many of our creatives are not experiencing the grand volume of exposure to match their high quality content. We trust that RTG will be the ideal platform to spotlight the work of each creator and ensure they are given the opportunity to elevate themselves into a successful career within the industry.
· Consumer: With in-depth sports content often coming at a price, (monthly paid membership schemes) we aim to stand out by being a platform open and inclusive to all members of the public. This will be via the means of a free subscription. RTG are adamant in our belief that critical analysis and distinctive opinion within the footballing world should be accessible to everyone and not just exclusive to those who can afford it.
Our Ambition:
Revamp The Game will look to become a self-sustaining and decentralised brand within the sports media industry to ensure the expressive nature of our content does not get restricted or controlled.
The launch of our own website and app are crucial to this plan.
Moreover, it is important to us that we maintain the policy of free access to all of RTG’s content. Sponsorship, investment and donation will be the primary sources of income for the organisation. This will help drive our aim to compete with the biggest brands in the sports media world. Online, the ambition is to be considered as one of social media’s most unique, influential and reputable sports brand’s, ensuring we never drop below the standard of quality required to maintain our unique ideology. Whilst currently acting as a springboard for many talented young creators, we one day hope to be considered as an end destination for such talent.
